Kingfont becomes an official HDMI adopter from August 2019. HDMI
(High Definition Multimedia Interface) is a specification that combines video
and audio into a single digital interface for use with DVD players, digital
television players, and other audio-visual devices.
The HDMI standard was developed by world's leading manufacturers of consumer
electronics, including Hitachi,
Philips, Sony, Panasonic, and Toshiba. Comparing to VGA and DVI cables, HDMI
cables are less prone to interference and signal
noise. Thus, HDMI cables provide
better quality picture and sound than other cables.
HDMI Specification 2.1 is the most recent update of the HDMI
specification. HDMI 2.1 supports a range of higher video resolutions including
8K60 (7680x 4320) and 4K120 (3840x 2160), and resolutions up to 10K (10240x
4320). Comparing with HDMI 1.4 (with 10.2Gbps) and HDMI 2.0 (with 18Gbps),
bandwidth capability of HDMI 2.1 is increased up to 48Gbps. Kingfont embraces
the latest HDMI 2.1 standards and provides more comprehensive product range for
customers.
