Q: How does the Standby LED operate under save mode? (test)
A: When entering S1 mode, system still works normally. No data will be lost. CPU clock might lower down to save the power consumption according to the operating status or tasks. Power LED on case will start blinking. System will resume its normal operation by mouse or keyboard.
When entering S2 mode, it\\\'s similar to the state at S1 mode. The temporarily stored data in CPU and BIOS will be lost, but recorded by the operating system. Power LED on case will start blinking. System will resume it\\\'s normal operation by mouse or keyboard.
When entering S3 mode, the system suspends to RAM. The standby LED near the memory module will keep at \\\"on\\\" state. It delivers the message that standby voltage 2.5V regulated from 5V SB is still providing normally. The power LED on computer case will start blinking. User has to press the power button to wake up the system.
When entering S4 mode, the system suspends to hard disk. All standby LEDs will turn off. The power LED on case will also turn off. User has to press the power button to resume the operation of system. System will boot up right to the page that fell to S4 mode.
When entering S5 mode, the system suspends to LAN. All standby LEDs will turn off. The power LED on case will also turn off. The system will be waken up by LAN or by pressing the power button.
